KEEP
THE SPIRIT OF 45 ALIVE is a non-profit program that is
gathering personal recollections of August 14, 1945, the day WWII
ended and the healing of the world began.
The joy of servicemen overseas, the relief of anxious families
at home, and the loneliness of those whose loved ones would
never return... these memories collectively capture the culminating
moment of a defining event in our history.
On January 18th, KEEP THE SPIRIT OF
45 ALIVE had an event onboard the USS Midway in San Diego,
California, honoring the greatest generation at a day of commemoration,
service and learning.
